-Ryan Ratcliff, an economist at UCLA Anderson Forecast says "The first two or three quarters of this year will be the tail end of the ugliness. Things will pick up before the end of 2007."
-John Karevoll, chief analyst at DataQuick Information Systems says "The housing market will return to normal with sales and prices returning to the middle of the grid historically." First he sees appreciation dipping and then leveling off now and by spring, "the market will be more in balance between buyers and sellers."
